AC Reliever of the Year Winner Named Saturday, October 17th, 2020 He may only be 25, but Justin Lawrence of the Buies Creek Astros has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the American Conference. The reliever was today named the AC Reliever of the Year winner for 2020. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 30 saves in 50 relief appearances and 82 strikeouts in 55.2 innings. He had a record of 6-1 to go with his 1.46 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Brandon Marklund of the Dunedin Blue Jays finished second in voting, while Chase Shugart of the Stockton Ports finished third.
