Davis Caps Great Week Monday, August 24th, 2020 23-year-old Brendon Davis made a few Tampa headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and American Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .565 average. Davis collected 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. This season Davis has delivered 38 hits in 114 at-bats for a .333 average with 4 home runs. He is getting on base at a .409 clip and his totals also include 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year Davis has played in 41 games. |
