Season-Ending Injury for Johnston
Thursday, August 20th, 2020
Obviously disappointed, Kyle Johnston confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Rancho Cucamonga starting pitcher offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 24-year-old Johnston suffered a torn labrum on 08/18/2020 and has been out of action since.
This season Johnston has compiled a 9-8 record with a 3.62 ERA in 23 starts.
