Sanford NC's Best of the Week Monday, August 17th, 2020 So far in his young career, Jacob Sanford has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Bradenton Marauders left fielder hit at a torrid .438 clip as he collected 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Sanford has hit at a .303 clip with 71 RBIs, 22 home runs and 51 runs scored. |
