Rocchio and Thompson Brawl, League Suspends Them Sunday, August 9th, 2020 Brayan Rocchio of the Stockton Ports and Matthew Thompson of the Winston-Salem Dash will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Ports-Dash game at Banner Island Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Rocchio and Thompson will begin serving them soon. Rocchio is hitting .269 so far this season with 17 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 68 hits including 3 home runs, 13 walks and .312 OBP. Checking out his stats for the season, Thompson has registered 9 wins and 3 losses in 22 starts, 3.40 ERA and struck out 111 batters in 124.1 innings. |
