Season Ends for Cotto Sunday, August 9th, 2020 Obviously disappointed, Gabriel Cotto confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Florida reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 20-year-old Cotto suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament on 08/08/2020 and has been out of action since. To this point in the season, Cotto has rung up no saves in 7 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 6.39 ERA, no wins and no losses and 10 strikeouts in 12.2 innings. |
