JetHawks Gilbert Strikes out 15 Fire Frogs Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 Lancaster JetHawks starter Logan Gilbert brought his best stuff to The Hanger today against the Florida Fire Frogs, striking out 15 batters in his club's 13-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 23-year-old Gilbert gave up 2 hits in his 6 innings of work and issued no walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." This year Gilbert has 6 wins and 1 loss and a 1.79 ERA. |
