Rowdy Players Suspended by League
Friday, May 15th, 2020
After an intense confrontation, both the Cardinals Trey Cabbage and the Rawhide Cameron Robinson were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Palm Beach-Visalia game. Trey Cabbage will miss 3 games, while Cameron Robinson was suspended for 6 games.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Trey Cabbage commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

This season in 30 games, Cabbage has hit at a .292 clip with 28 hits, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 16 runs scored.

Robinson has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-0 record with a 5.18 ERA. The Visalia reliever has limited opposing batters to a .272 batting average.
