The Houston Astros relied on the hitting of first baseman Dominic Smith to stop the Texas Rangers, 6-3. For the game, Smith went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Blake Snell picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-2. He struck out 7 in 5 innings. "You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Odor told the Houston Chronicle.
