Marlins Top Reds Behind Cueto, 2-0
|
Miami got an elite performance from starting pitcher Johnny Cueto in taking a 2-0 decision over the Cincinnati Reds. Blake Treinen got credit for the save for Miami. It was his 9th of the year. Miami occupies 4th place in the National League East Division at 15-18.
The Reds had trouble solving Cueto, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Cueto told the Miami Herald.
