Sale Sensational for Royals
|
Kansas City got an elite performance from starting pitcher Chris Sale in taking a 5-0 decision over the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels fall to 7-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 2018 season.
Sale, who was born in Lakeland, Florida, threw 118 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"We did a lot of things right," said Sale.
