Brewers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Cardinals
|
The Milwaukee Brewers topped the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Eugenio Suarez. Suarez was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Brewers. The Cardinals fall to 4-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2018 season.
Suarez had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a full count fastball from Zac Reininger, he banged a bases-clearing double to left, giving the Brewers a 7-4 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Suarez.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Suarez.
