|
The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, knocking off the Baltimore Orioles, 5-2. On the mound for Toronto was left-hander Clayton Kershaw, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Blue Jays raised their record to 8-3.
Andrew McCutchen hit a run-scoring double off Adalberto Mejia in the top of the sixth, which put the Blue Jays in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, McCutchen had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Toronto manager Ryan Hicks.
