|
The Washington Nationals scored a 3-2 win versus the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Washington pitcher Nathan Karns nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Joakim Soria earned the save, his 1st. At 2-0, the Nationals have played well so far.
Tyler Flowers swatted a 2-run home run for Washington in the top of the seventh. The catcher went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
