Victory Pushes Rangers Record to 61-42
The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, taking down the Houston Astros, 3-1. Starting pitcher Josh Winder was a big reason why. David Bednar was credited with the save, his 23rd in 24 tries. The win for the Rangers lifted their record to 61-42.

Bryce Harper had an important at-bat with no one out in the top of the fourth, when he hit a solo home run. His 31st home run of the season put Texas on top, 1-0.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Rangers manager Dillon Reese, "I like our chances."
