Braves Earn 8-7 Win Against Brewers
|
Ronald Acuna Jr. was a major factor in the 8-7 Atlanta win over Milwaukee. The Braves right fielder hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. The win was credited to Drew Pomeranz in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Collin McHugh took the loss. With the victory, the Braves upped their record to 52-48.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Acuna Jr. delivered big-time for Atlanta, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Collin McHugh. The game-changing hit put the Braves on top, 8-6.
