Brewers Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Kansas City
|
The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Kansas City Royals, 6-3, at Miller Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Eugenio Suarez, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Andrew Miller earned save number 7. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Milwaukee.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when right fielder Aaron Judge, who leads the NL in total bases with 202, drew a walk. The Brewers went on to win.
"We've got a great group of guys," Judge said, "and we're having fun right now."
