Cleveland starter Ervin Santana had a strong outing against the Detroit Tigers at Progressive Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Adam Warren notched his 4th save in 7 chances. Cleveland is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Marcus Semien aided the Cleveland cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 2-3 with a double and a walk.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Santana said.
