Dickerson Delivers Clutch At-Bat for San Francisco in Walk-Off Win
|
The San Francisco Giants bested the Miami Marlins, 8-5, at AT&T Park. Corey Dickerson was named player of the game. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Tony Watson got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Marlins have now dropped 7 straight.
Dickerson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 sinker from Boone Logan, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Giants a 8-5 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Dickerson.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Dickerson.
