Victory Over Phillies Takes Toronto to 33-20
|
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-1, in American League action at Citizens Bank Park. The player of the game was Toronto pitcher Michael Fulmer. Fulmer got the win, improving to 7-3. He allowed 8 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. Fulmer allowed 1 earned run. Toronto is now 33-20, 3½ games up in the American League East Division.
