Astros Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Cleveland
|
Houston Astros starter Robbie Ray was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Cleveland Indians, 6-3. The winning pitcher was Ray, now 4-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 9. A.J. Minter picked up the save, his 9th.
Josh Harrison, who is a two-time All-Star, aided the Houston cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Harrison said.
The Astros bumped their record to 24-23 with this latest triumph.
