Rowdy Players Suspended by League Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 After an intense confrontation, both the Baysox Will Olson and the SeaWolves Antoine Kelly were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Bowie-Erie game. Will Olson will miss 3 games, while Antoine Kelly was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Will Olson commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Presently Olson is hitting .351 with 1 home run and 19 RBIs. He has played in 63 games and scored 31 times. So far this year Kelly has compiled a 7-5 record with a 3.08 ERA. |
