Sea Dogs Burger and Biscuits Supak Suspended for Fight Tuesday, July 21st, 2020 If there wasn't a history between Jake Burger of Portland and Trey Supak of Montgomery, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 8 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Burger said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this season Burger has hit .240 with 10 home runs, 40 RBIs and scored 26 times. Up to now Supak has recorded a record of 12-2. In 18 starts he has fanned 104 batters in 109 innings with a 2.97 ERA. |
