Pensacola Punchless in 8-0 Loss to Rumble Ponies Friday, July 17th, 2020 Today was Peter Solomon's turn in the rotation for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and he made the most of it, shutting out the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on 6 hits. The 23-year-old right-hander led the Rumble Ponies to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing 1 walk and tallying 7 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Pensacola manager said. "Solomon certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds." This year Solomon has worked 72 innings with 66 strikeouts en route to a 5-2 record and a 3.50 ERA. |
