Midland's Heyward AC's Best Monday, June 15th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the American Conference, but last week Jacob Heyward of the Midland RockHounds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Heyward rocked opposing pitching for a .579 average (11-for-19), 3 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. For the year Heyward has hit at a .301 clip with 24 RBIs, 8 home runs and 21 runs scored. |
