Stephan Mows Down 15 Barons Saturday, June 6th, 2020 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Trevor Stephan, the Chattanooga Lookouts topped the Birmingham Barons today by a score of 9-1 at AT&T Field. The 24-year-old Stephan brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 3 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Barons manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." Stephan has gone 6-3 this season with an ERA of 3.34 and 85 strikeouts in 64.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .193 against him. |
