McGovern Chosen #1 Player Monday, May 4th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National Conference, but last week Keegan McGovern of the Altoona Curve reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. McGovern rocked opposing pitching for a .440 average (11-for-25), 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. For the year McGovern is batting .333 with 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. |
