Moniak Goes Cycling

Mickey Moniak had a special day at Hammons Field today, contributing to the Tennessee Smokies' 9-4 win and hitting for the cycle along the way.
The 21-year-old center fielder went 4-for-4, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Springfield Cardinals.
"Boy, Mickey had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Tennessee manager said later. "You don't see that very often."
For the day, Moniak finished with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits.
Mickey Moniak hit a two-run home run off Adam Wolf in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
This season Moniak is batting .277 with 13 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 6 times and has 6 runs batted in.
