Carlson Named 2020 NC Most Valuable Player Award Winner

Dylan Carlson took AA by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the Biloxi Shuckers star has been named the 2020 National Conference Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .307 batting average to go with a .397 on-base percentage. The native of Elk Grove, California also added 26 doubles, 8 triples, 23 home runs, 70 RBIs and 101 runs scored.
He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 30. Sherten Apostel of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Alan Trejo of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp finished third with 1 first place vote.
