Heredia Raps Buffalo for 5 Hits Friday, August 7th, 2020 Guillermo Heredia did a number on the Bisons in the Durham 16-4 victory today, and the number was 5. The Bulls center fielder banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Durham Bulls Athletic Park to lead his club past the Buffalo Bisons. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Guillermo Heredia singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Sam Delaplane in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Heredia has put up a .286 batting average with 113 hits, 6 home runs and 37 RBIs. |
