The Indianapolis Indians pitcher went the distance, rang up 8 strikeouts, walked 0 and held the Redbirds to 3 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Memphis manager said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." This year Hearn has fanned 79 in 84.2 innings and collected a 5-7 record with a 5.74 ERA. |
