Thorpe Electric in 2-0 Win Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 Lewis Thorpe of the Louisville Bats humiliated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Louisville Slugger Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 2 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Lehigh Valley manager , after the game. Thorpe whiffed 9 and walked 1 in the 2-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Thorpe said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." In 16 starts this year Thorpe has posted 6 wins while suffering 4 losses. He has pitched 87 innings, allowed 83 hits, struck out 90 and has a 3.00 ERA. |
