Robinson Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Saturday, June 13th, 2020 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Errol Robinson did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Louisville Slugger Field today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 25-year-old second baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Iowa Cubs beat the Louisville Bats 4-1 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Robinson told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Iowa clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Errol Robinson flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year Robinson is hitting .354 with 62 hits, 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 26 runs. |
