Raley and Anderson Fight, Get Suspended
Friday, May 29th, 2020
Yesterday at Werner Park Luke Raley and Cody Anderson got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Omaha Storm Chasers and Tacoma Rainiers. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Raley will have to sit out 3 while Anderson would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.

Raley is currently hitting at a .261 pace with 10 home runs and 36 RBIs.

So far this season Anderson has a record of 3-2 with 41 strikeouts and 14 walks in 51 innings and a 3.88 ERA.
