Wade and Hernandez Suspended for Free-for-All Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 After an intense confrontation, both the Aces Tyler Wade and the Cubs Elieser Hernandez were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Reno-Iowa game. Tyler Wade will miss 4 games, while Elieser Hernandez was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Tyler Wade commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." In 31 games this year Wade has posted a .186 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 4 RBIs and 14 runs scored. In 8 starts this season Hernandez has crafted a 3-1 record with a 3.80 ERA. |
