Oklahoma City Dodgers reliever Hunter Wood said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy.

He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2020 Reliever of the Year for the National Conference.

"There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Wood said.

On the season, the Rogers, Arkansas native had no saves in 47 relief appearances, 81 strikeouts in 75.2 innings and a record of 1 win and 1 loss to go with his 2.14 ERA.

He received 28 first place votes out of a possible 30. Joshua Torres of the New Orleans Baby Cakes finished second in voting, while Devan Watts of the Indianapolis Indians finished third with 1 first place vote.
