Hernandez Grabs AC Reliever of the Year Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 At the young age of only 23, Darwinzon Hernandez has been named the American Conference Reliever of the Year winner for 2020. The future appears bright for the Salt Lake Bees relief ace, who captured the award with 29 saves in 47 relief appearances, 109 strikeouts in 56.2 innings and a record of 3-3 to go with his 1.75 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Seth Lugo of the Toledo Mud Hens finished second in voting, while Robert Gsellman of the Salt Lake Bees finished third.
