Fresno Takes Round 2 in Deciding Game Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 It went the distance, but the Fresno Grizzlies finally disposed of the Omaha Storm Chasers 2-0 in the series clincher at Chukchansi Park. Winning the finale gave the Grizzlies the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the Round 3. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Fresno left fielder Dan Robertson. He batted .346 in the series, collecting 3 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. "Dan deserves it," said Grizzlies manager . "He was the glue that held our club together." The Fresno Grizzlies will play against the Albuquerque Isotopes in the next round. Albuquerque won their series against the Las Vegas 51s 4 games to 3. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
