Season Over for Osuna Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Chicago Cubs: reliever Roberto Osuna is out for the year. Osuna suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 08/18/2020. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. So far this season, in 49 relief appearances Osuna has compiled an ERA of 3.22. He has pitched 50.1 innings, struck out 65, walked 12 and registered 1 save. |
