Reds Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, September 25th, 2020 Joey Gallo said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Cincinnati Reds after they missed the Major League Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2018. In the last 10 seasons, the Reds have missed the playoffs 8 times. In total, the Reds have missed the playoffs 138 times in their 149-year history. Cincinnati last won the World Series in 1990. |
