Cleveland and Texas duked it out and the Indians came out victorious.

Matt Chapman was instrumental in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Texas Rangers. The third baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Cleveland Indians. Cleveland reliever Liam Hendriks picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Reyes Moronta took the loss. Kirby Yates got credit for the save for Cleveland. It was his 13th of the year.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Chapman delivered big-time for Cleveland, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Reyes Moronta. The game-changing hit put the Indians on top, 6-5.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Chapman told the Cleveland Herald.

With the win, the Indians sit at 23-14.
