Rangers Get Dramatic 8-7 Triumph
The Texas Rangers relied on the hitting of left fielder Joc Pederson to stop the Houston Astros, 8-7. For the game, Pederson slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Texas, now 9-5, has played well in the early going.

Texas won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Tyler Duffey on the mound for Houston, right fielder Bryce Harper hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rangers fans to their feet.

"This place sure got loud," said Jake Storiale, the Texas manager.
