Tigers Sneak Past Indians, 8-7
|
Led by Khris Davis, the Detroit Tigers downed the Cleveland Indians, 8-7. Davis was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Tigers. With the victory, the Tigers upped their record to 58-43.
The Tigers procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Corey Dickerson. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Dickerson.
