Globe Life Park in Arlington was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers.

The Atlanta Braves faced a tough opponent in Texas pitcher Alex Wood, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Globe Life Park in Arlington by a final score of 5-4. Wood went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Atlanta reliever Chad Sobotka was the winner. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Diego Castillo.

It could have been a different outcome for Atlanta, had it not been for Yasiel Puig, the 29-year old right fielder . Puig contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Atlanta up, 5-4.

"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Puig. "It eases the tension."

With the win, Atlanta upped its record to 47-39.
