Philadelphia Phillies starter Patrick Sandoval pitched a strong game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Citizens Bank Park, leading the Phillies to victory, 5-4. The win gives Philadelphia a season record of 47-37.

With runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the 12th, Maikel Franco delivered the knockout blow when he hit a walk-off 3-run home run to win it for Philadelphia. In the contest, Franco was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
